Zandra is renowned for her use of design and pattern and this piece really allows her absolute genius for cut to shine through on its own. The lines of this jacket are truly wonderful. Tight knife pleats are sculpted to form that incredible back and extravagant shoulders. It is completely hand painted in a dramatic design that highlights the cut of the jacket. The fabric has an almost stiffened feel to it that allows the pleats to stay into place and create the sculptural feel of the jacket. I love the rounded, unusual sleeve and those four huge circular designs that sit on the shoulders. The edges of those curving swirls and tops of each arm are detailed with her signature beading. It is an incredible testament to her work and aesthetic. Excellent condition

Unlined and hooks to close at the front. The item is not tagged but is clearly Zandra Rhodes and I guarantee that it is. The cut and pleats will allow for a variety of sizes to wear the jacket
